The rating Exceptional does the hotel a disservice. I have traveled all over the world and there isn’t a hotel that even comes close to the Saint Regis Rome. Yes it’s beautiful and the food is exceptional. But what separates this hotel from any other is the staff. Sandro (hotel manager) received an emergency phone call from me at the airport that my son was ill. Upon arriving at the hotel a doctor was waiting to treat my son. Fortunately his illness only lasted 30 hours. Mario and Omar the concierges’ took care of my family’s every need. My room check in was a dream as well as the multitude of goodies that the butler left every night. The maid had our room sparkle every day. Even when you went down for breakfast (the best breakfast in the world—-by the way) the entire staff greeted you by your surname. This hotel understands who the customer is and spends a great deal of time making certain that everyone on staff does as well. Congratulations to the Saint Regis hotel in Rome for being the best hotel I’ve ever traveled too, which is well over 500!!! All the best!!!
